Composed of two parallel optical fibers (one for transmission, one for reception) with an integrated armored layer (aluminum or stainless steel), it delivers reliable two-way data transfer while providing robust protection against physical impacts, rodent bites, and electromagnetic interference (EMI). Encapsulated in a UV-stabilized, flame-retardant LSZH jacket, this cable complies with indoor fire safety standards and outdoor weather resistance requirements, ensuring versatility across diverse installation scenarios.
Key functional features of Duplex fiber armored cable include compatibility with G.652D single-mode and OM3/OM4 multi-mode fibers, supporting high-speed transmission (up to 100Gbps) with minimal attenuation. It integrates aramid yarn reinforcement, withstanding short-term tensile loads of 600N and operating stably at temperatures from -40°C to +75°C. The armored structure enhances mechanical durability, while the duplex design eliminates the need for separate transmit/receive cables, simplifying wiring and reducing installation costs.
